Back At It…

Ok, so not to come up with a lot of excuses about why I have a difficult time sticking to a 365 project, I will provide one… My family has given me the nickname “Squirrel” since seeing the movie “Up”. To understand this you’ll just have to watch the movie! We just spent a nice weekend on the Washington Coast at a wonderful place called Shakti Cove, here are a few iPhone pics from our stay…

365… Days 6 & 7

Yahoo for me, I’ve made it through the first week!  I’ve started and stopped this project a couple of times in the last couple of years,  but I’m determined to make it in 2011.  I decided to make this an iPhone project because I always have my iPhone with me; I don’t always have my pro equipment with me.   I know that some may think that’s the lazy way out, and maybe it is, but for me I wanted to make this goal achievable!

I’m inspired by Karen Chappell… http://bitstop-nfld.blogspot.com/

There is nothing like flowers to brighten up a rainy day. Needing a photo for my 365 project, and a break from editing pictures, I decided to take advantage of our New Years bouquet. Here is what I came up with for today… Day 5

It’s a New Year and We’re baaaacccckkkk!!!

With the start of a new year everyone has “new years resolutions”, most of which fall by the wayside before February 1st! I’ve often wondered why that is.  Is it because we don’t put enough thought into them, or we aren’t disciplined enough to carry them through or maybe it’s because we really weren’t serious about them in the first place.  I’m not sure what the reasons are, but none the less, here it is January 2011, and I’ve made a few resolutions and set some goals for myself. One of which […]

Life’s Lemons and what to do with them…

Life gives you a bowl of lemons and your parents tell you to make lemonade. Others tell you to pitch those lemons right back where they came from.  To keep myself entertained, I came up with a few other ideas for those nasty lemons.

1.     Clean your elbows… remove the dark spots for your next photo shoot

2.     Squeeze the lemon juice on your hair and sit in the sun for natural highlights.

3. […]

Meet the Realtors

If you’re looking for a realtor that is really on top of their game, we’ve met the perfect team. Meet “The Orbino Group” of Bellevue, Washington. Not only are they charming and perfectly in sync with each other and the market, but also they are reliable, dependable and a true pleasure to work with.

We spent some time with them yesterday on the 25th floor at the Harbor Club in Bellevue capturing their images while they conducted a business meeting.  Not only were the views fantastic, but […]

Our Youngest Model… meet Sophia!!!

Yesterday we set off to go do a photo shoot with our youngest model to date – 4 days old.  We showed up at their house with more luggage than the baby’s new Mommy. As we set up the studio in their living room, we had to laugh that the 80 pounds of gear was all to capture the essence of a 6-7 pound spirit. What a doll! (Literally)

Seeing as how she was born so close to Halloween, we thought we’d carve out a pumpkin and do some holiday shots for the new Mom […]
