We had a great time working with the instructors of Hawaiian Paddle Sports along with the staff from the Ambassadors of the Environment Program at the Ritz-Carlton in Kapalua yesterday. We spend most of our time creating memorable Maui family photography and Maui wedding photography and being asked to capture a Hawaiian Blessing Ceremony is always a real honor for us. Paddle IMUA 2013 was fantastic! With more than 100 contestants and a finish line packed with families, keiki fun and food/drinks, we rate this event a huge success! The race was well run and the festival afterwards felt like a giant ohana – A true Maui feeling!

This weekend’s Festival was filled with fun for all ages! Haiku Hoolaulea was an opportunity for vendors to sell their local treats, art and clothing as well as a place to display the beautiful flowers and produce native to our area. Parking was a bit crazy, but the venue itself was laid out nicely with plenty of walking space, dancing areas and open grass to sit down and eat.
