This month we had another fantastic Kihei 4th Friday November 2013!

Kihei 4th Friday November 2013The weather remained perfect with gentle trade winds cooling off the event area but not causing any disruption.  New vendors like the Wailea Marketplace and Purium joined the event creating variety for Kihei Fourth Friday regulars.

Hawaiian Hula Dancers

The Keiki Youth Zone was honored by the presence of halau dancers, drummers, musicians and entertainers that transported all of us to a time of simpler beauty, when the stories were shared by the subtle movement of the body. If you missed it, we’re hoping to have them back in December. Amazing, amazing group. Mahalo nui loa!

The little ones stole the show as they put their hearts and souls into every move before their captive audience. We’re so proud of each and every one of them! Check out a quick clip of them here:

AlohaWith more than 4,000 visitors roaming the event, there were plenty of shoppers, people dancing before the stages and lots of ohana to be found at every turn. Kihei 4th Friday November 2013 marked the 12th Kihei Maui Town Party, and again, a huge success. This monthly party continues to be the one time of month you can count on seeing your friends, hanging out at a free event and being engaged by much local talent.

Next month we welcome Marty Dread and Just Us to the Main stage. We hope you’ll join us as Kihei celebrates it’s first year in the Maui Town Party Family. Mahalo Maui County and all the residents and visitors that come together to make this event a huge success every month!
