Paddle IMUA 2013 was fantastic! With more than 100 contestants and a finish line packed with families, keiki fun and food/drinks, we rate this event a huge success! The race was well run and the festival afterwards felt like a giant ohana – A true Maui feeling!

This weekend’s Festival was filled with fun for all ages! Haiku Hoolaulea was an opportunity for vendors to sell their local treats, art and clothing as well as a place to display the beautiful flowers and produce native to our area. Parking was a bit crazy, but the venue itself was laid out nicely with plenty of walking space, dancing areas and open grass to sit down and eat.

April, the month of the young child, was celebrated in grand style at the Valley Isle Keiki Fest 2013 on Maui. Their mission reads, “To promote a positive environment and a community for children to be safe, healthy, and ready to succeed.” They truly succeeded this year!
With performances by the cheer squads and martial artists, the kids cheered on their fellow peers.
