April, the month of the young child, was celebrated in grand style at the Valley Isle Keiki Fest 2013 on Maui. Their mission reads, “To promote a positive environment and a community for children to be safe, healthy, and ready to succeed.” They truly succeeded this year!

Kihei Fourth Fridays March Event

Once again we were thrilled to be part of the Kihei Fourth Friday event.  March’s event came about a little earlier with the month having 5 Fridays in it. Nevertheless, there was a good turnout – both in enthusiastic vendors as well as an amazing assortment of food providers.  We especially enjoy the tacos and donuts, bringing us back in time to our photo shoots in Mexico! Mahalo/Gracias!

Maui PrideWhaleabration 2013 with Maui Pride!

We’ve had the honor of working closely with the many communities on Maui. One group the LBGT Community turns to for fun and aloha is the Maui Pride Community! Yesterday we went out  on a whale excursion sponsored by the  Maui Pride Board and the Maui Sunseeker on a Pacific Whale Foundation boat. It was a great time – Ohana of all ages were there for the competition pods of whales, laughter, smiles and all-round excellent time.

Paia BeachfestPa’ia’s 16th Annual Beachfest Bodyboard and Surf Competition was last Saturday and what a great day for it! North shore coastline was booming with great waves and beautiful sunshine for this fun event. Athletes of all ages showed off their skills, tricks and barrel-riding abilities. The PYCC Webcam was available to monitor the waves and action throughout the event.
