Hi! My name is Hua. I was given to my adoptive family by a wonderful Reverend named Kolleen. They wanted to welcome me so they asked what I’d like to do for my eggstravagant day on Maui. This is my Eggstra Special Easter Adventure Story.
Of course being on Maui, there were so many things to do and stores I just HAD to visit. First stop was to Embelished Memories where they hooked me up with an eggsquisite pair of sunglasses and a great assortment of Hawaiian Cutouts. Mahalo nui loa!
We continued over to Hawaiian Moons where I could check out the wonderful produce. The avocados and bananas looked yummy but weren’t eggsactly my thing.
I woke up eggstra early for my adventure this morning so we stopped into Starbucks for a nice tasty chai tea! We were ready to roll!
I really wanted to hit the beaches of South Maui but needed snorkel equipment. The adorable gal at the Scuba Shack tried her best to fit me with an eggciting mask, but alas, they were all too large. Mahalo!
Headed over toward the cove to catch some rays… brought along my eggstra beach towel but the clouds moved in and we had to scramble to get away from the rain. I guess that’s better than getting fried.
Thankfully I was able to get away from the beach before the sharks might have had me for an egg salad lunch !
After all that playing I was eggspecially hungry! We headed over to Peggy Sue’s Cafe to where I was able to wegg my tail to some oldies from the jukebox. They may have looked at me strangely, but I didn’t mind – I know I’m eggcentric.
When all is said and done, there’s nothing like an afternoon cocktail with friends, right? Stella Blues made space for me as I wobbled up onto the bar. The amazing bartender even kept the gal next to me from poaching my drink away! Mahalo!
When you run around Kihei as much as I have today, there’s only one thing to do… go visit Pizza Madness and eat until you crack… or in my case, just plain fall over with enjoyment! Shaka All!
What an eggstra-special day in the Islands.
I hope that you all have an eggciting Easter too and don’t forget to love the ones you’re with!
Aloha!
** As family and wedding photographers on Maui, we enjoy doing these eggstra fun little blogs in between photo shoots. We hope that you’ve enjoyed it too. Mahalo! **
