Kihei Fourth Friday does it again!
This past Friday marked Kihei’s 7th successful Maui Town Party! With more than 90 vendors and merchants, the parking lot at Azeka’s Shopping Center and Pi’ikea Road filled up quickly. Experienced vendors were up and selling fast as experienced shoppers started filling the event.
A guesstimate of more than 5,000 event visitors came to celebrate Summer in Kihei. Many vendors reported their best business nights yet with shoppers enjoying the great deals and variety of items and services being offered.
Josh Totafi and Junior Siqueira brought the party up to high speed with their amazing musical talent! If you haven’t heard them play, find them and give it a go – extreme talent with these young men!
The sun began to set over the Mainstage just before the enchanting halau halftime show. Can you say, “adorable?” These cute young ladies, led by Kalei Jaramillo, kept the audience entertained and engaged with their huge smiles and smart moves. A huge MAHALO for bringing aloha to the K4F June event!
Soon after sunset, the stage filled with the amazing talent of the 8 member band, Ekolu. Their horns could be heard throughout the event as the sound resonated through the attentive audience. There was dancing and singing EVERYWHERE!
From the Mainstage to the Food Court stage next to Java Cafe where Joette rocked the night for all the dining visitors, there were smiles, laughter and hugs all around. Families laughed together while they watched the amazing bubbles and magic. Friends cheered for each other as they took turns riding the mechanical bull by Bank of Hawaii and Stella Blues Cafe.
Non profit “vendors” like the Maui Humane Society joined in the fun hoping to find loving homes for their adoptable pets, like this one!
Mahalo to all the volunteers and vendors that work together every month to make Kihei Fourth Fridays an amazing Maui Town Party experience! Steven Tyler even popped in for a minute and wished us all a great event! It takes a village to make this happen and it’s exciting to see the entire village out there enjoying it!
