This past Friday marked Kihei’s 14th successful Maui Town Party! We’d like to thank all the wonderful vendors, volunteers and performers that work so hard each month to continue to give the community these amazing Maui Town Parties! With more than 70 vendors and merchants, the parking lot at Azeka’s Shopping Center and Pi’ikea Road filled up quickly. Experienced vendors were up and selling quickly as shoppers spent more time in each booth making their purchases. Mahalo!
A guesstimate of more than 3,000 event visitors came to celebrate Winter in Kihei with us. Many vendors reported one of their best business nights yet with shoppers enjoying the great deals and variety of items and services being offered. We welcomed many new vendors into the event this month! You could find people dancing everywhere at the event – how exciting!
Soul Kitchen and Poni Brendan & The Troublemakers brought the party up to high speed with their amazing musical talents! Our guest emcee this month was Sistah Val and she did a great job keeping us all entertained!
Just after the sun set, the Keiki Youth Zone stage featured the enchanting halau performance. Can you say, “adorable?” These cute young ladies kept the audience entertained and engaged with their huge smiles and smart moves. A huge MAHALO for bringing aloha to the K4F January event!
From the Mainstage to the Food Court stage next to Java Cafe where the night was filled with brilliant sounds for all the dining visitors, there were smiles, laughter and hugs all around. Families laughed together while they watched the amazing bubbles and danced together throughout the night.
Non profit volunteers from the Montessori School and Kihei Charter School donated their time in the Keiki Youth Zone to help give the kids a fun place to play. Mahalo!
Mahalo to all the volunteers and vendors that work together every month to make Kihei Fourth Fridays an amazing Maui Town Party experience! It takes a village to make this happen and it’s exciting to see the entire village out there enjoying it!
