That true feeling of Accomplishment!
Welcome to the Morey Challenge, 2013! This was the first of what seems to be a fantastic, fun, family event in Maui with more to come! When you ask,” What to do in Maui?” – be sure to check and see if you’re coming during a Morey Challenge month. This premier event was sponsored by many local and National companies such as Java Cafe, Monster, KONI, GNC, Kono’s, Round Table, GoPro,Maui Weekly, Cycle City, among others.
Yesterday, September 15th, marked the inaugural event in the Morey Challenge Legacy Series. We had the honor of doing the photos from both the land and the water sides. The day consisted of 4 competition sections and a keiki contest at halftime. For the first half of the event, sitting in an anchored boat a mile from shore and yelling encouraging quips to racers as they rounded the third bouy was Darci, while on shore at the finish line capturing those “sand in your crack” pictures was Penny.
In an attempt to get pictures of every relay participant, the gallery contains hundreds of images. Many are fun shots of great accomplishments and others are historic moments of Tom Morey and his family.
