Paddle IMUA 2013 was fantastic! With more than 100 contestants and a finish line packed with families, keiki fun and food/drinks, we rate this event a huge success! The race was well run and the festival afterwards felt like a giant ohana – A true Maui feeling!
A few of our favorite pictures from the event can be found here.
With Ka makani `olu `olu, the racers took off on their 10 mile trek. Along the way the wind picked up and gently pushed them along – not hard enough to mae their task easy, but better than glass-like conditions!

Everyone stayed strong and paddled hard. We are proud of not only each and every contestant, but also the volunteers and staff that made this event possible. Camp IMUA benefits some incredible children and being a part of making that happen is an amazing feeling. Check out some of the K8K folks who were helping out!
